Which Game of Thrones Character Am I?

Thursday, 25 April 2019

After debating over the last few weeks as to whether or not I would be actually tuning in this season, the Twitter hype-train over the last few weeks, has tossed me right back into the fervour of the Game of Thrones television series obsession.
I am a book purist, if you had not already noticed (this website is a book blog, after-all), so the chopping and changing, and the slightly convoluted decisions of a George R.R. Martin-free season always sets my teeth on edge. But, so far, so good.
Although, this conclusion might be wholly influenced by the fact that you can now get Hodor doorstops in Primark.
Therefore, as I always seem to do, I thought that I would take my obsession that one step further, and take the completely-farcical, wholly-inaccurate http://mygotcharacter.com quiz that has been doing the rounds. Because, why not?

Admittedly, I am quite happy with my results. Even though, in the television series at least, they are all long dead. In the book, as well, but with the emergence of Lady Stoneheart, Catelyn still somewhat lives on to take her vengeance out on people that don't wholly deserve it, for at least a little while longer.
AND, more importantly, Maester Aemon died from old age on that boat so I don't think his death foreshadows my utter incapability of existing in Westeros either. Because he, at least, did not meet a violent or untimely end.
In fact, now that I think about it, does Aemon having the one peaceful death make him the real winner of the Game of Thrones?
Well... him and Hoster Tully.
