Leeds, United Kingdom.

I don't really eat when I'm reading but I've got a Terry's Chocolate Orange hidden away somewhere that is going to be perfect during breaks.
4. Tell us something about yourself!
I have a chronic illness so whilst the rest of my life hits pause this year, reading is officially a-go
5. If this is your first readathon, what are you most looking forward to?
Trying to see how much I can actually read. I view myself as a quick reader and I want to see if that is true.

Tale of a Boon's Wife; Little Fires Everywhere; It's Always the Husband

Because I've been skipping from book to book, I don't really think my progress can be measured by books. I have read 453 pages though!
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
Just continuing on with Little Fires Everywhere, that book is a work of art.
4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
Not interruptions, more... distractions. Just trying to keep focus or give myself a time-limit on how long I allow myself to be distracted - max five/ten minutes.
5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
My page per hour rate is mostly consistent. I mean, I know I should've expected that but it definitely surprised me.

Yeah... so I fell asleep. I honestly don't know how people managed to stay up for the entirety of the twenty-four hours because reading is bloody exhausting. Overall, I am really happy with my progress (even though I didn't make it to my goal of 1000 pages) and, having read 818 pages and completed 2 books - and made progress on SO many more - I'm really excited for the next readathon.
